On FA, she did NOT link back to this, and when questioned about it she blocked everyone who tried to contact her. She traced the pose to use for her own financial gain. She also traced this image - www.furaffinity.net/view/15266… - for the face of the second character. I have talked to the original artist, they were not contacted or given credit.
Then let the origional artist sort it out with her, which already has been done, apparently, and stick yourself out of it. This is part of the reason i refuse to get deeply involved witg tge furry community. They have a bad habit of beating a dead horse. Ie when my character got stolen, someone notified me and i handled it. However i wake up the next morning and people i didnt even know were blasting my notifications. Im just saying, if you think art is stolen, notify the artist and leave it at that. And notify them privately, because people have a tendecy to bandwagon and cause more trouble for the artist with their constant messaging. I know from personal experience that it is extremely difficult to deal with a thief while fielding messaged from 20+ people that want to 'help'.
Yes they did- and it's been confirmed that they did. They dealt with it with the original artists, not publicly. It even says on the post of the traced image that it is being reworked.
so, seeing as the problem is solved your best bet is to just drop it.
I don't care if it was directed at me or not, you didn't seem to care if it was your problem or not, which it wasn't in the first place, the problem was already solved with both the original artists.. The people still going on about it are just trying to be a-holes which for the artist's sake is what im trying to prevent.
so scurry off and go bust another tracer if its so important to you. it seems you have blocked me. Well done, you've further proved that you can't handle what you dish out.
Yet none of this was directed at you, go white night somewhere else. Practice what you preach. Bottom line is, they traced over two separate artists and refused to take any responsibility for it. It's disgusting, and it occurs in more than one fandom.
